My 4.4kW array:
January 2017: 438kWh January 2016: 343kWh January 2015: 426kWh January 2014: 383kWh January 2017 net metered energy: 278kWh Have a friend who is having a solar company come by to give him a proposal on Thursday. He helped me move the pallet of panels from the yard to the second story roof in 2013. His bills are astronomical, and I reminded him saving energy is cheaper than making your own. (loaning him my TED 1001 for 14 months, didn't motivate him to figure out where all his energy is going once it passes his meter). |

You had a great Feb your best yet very nice.
It is funny when people talk to me about solar and I talk to them about saving energy. They don’t want to hear about that. But it is cheaper to do it that way. I have been getting questions on leasing solar array. They just made this legal here. I always tell them you have a few company’s trying to get you to lease a array who do you think it benefits?

Our calendar January came in at 596 kWh from 6.8 kW arrays. This rates it as the worst January we've had. Of course a non-functioning Enphase inverter didn't help.
Other Jan results 2013 641 kWh 2014 887 kWh 2015 692 kWh 2016 703 kWh I still love solar energy! |

Do you have 190 microinverters or m215? They had a lot of issues with the 190’s.
How are they at replacing them under warranty? I have not need to do that yet.

I'll have to check, I don't remember which one I have. All it needs is a reset for a ground fault, but without an internet connection they won't do anything. I have a case #, 00866918 on it, but no help. They won't allow me to return it to get it reset even though I offered to pay the freight both ways.
It's just one of those things. I'll be getting home internet this summer if nothing unusual happens. |

What cell phone provider do you use? If it is ATT or one that uses a sim card you could get a mobile access point that could be setup to let them in to fix it.
I have two of the here. If my internet goes down I just take my sim card out of my cell phone insert it into my USB hot spot that connects to my router everything here is back online like nothing happened. We do have to be careful to not use too much data but it is usually only out for a couple hours.

12.5 Kw array we generated 1,429 Kwh Feb 2017
This was our best Feb so far. We are now zeroed out so March has to stand on its own. I should find out how big a check we will get this year soon. My estimate $60-$70 I will update this number once they let me know. This is the second year we made everything we used and some more. We have not used our natural gas heat or central AC at all. We are now heating our 1,000 gallon aquaponics system with solar power. Feb 2017= 1,429 Kwh Feb 2016= 1,304 Kwh Feb 2015= 1,321 Kwh Feb 2014= 1,328 Kwh Other solar producers show us your numbers for Nov when you have them.

I spent a year in UT, Hill AFB to be specific and enjoyed it greatly.
Beautiful place, but as I am from Alabama, I found it to be too far to the left when I looked at the Rand McNally Atlas. We wanted our kids to know their Grandparents. It was a shame too, as Columbus AFB, MS was a far worse assignment....... |
