Condensing could be a heat pump or a radiator. The difference is that while the radiator releases most of the heat (but not moisture) into the room, a heat pump recycles most of the heat. If there's one on display, see if there's a large vent (looks something like a HVAC type vent) in the back where the radiator would go.

I wouldnt guess it would be much . Im on well water so its a constant 65 or so degrees. I wonder how that would work out and if it would save me any power. Im wonderin if it would be better to get a heat pump one or get the one thats on here.

On second look, it seems none of the units on the home despot website have a real heat pump in them. They look to have air-or-water-cooled condensers in them. The hunt for a usa market heat pump dryer may be a long one. They're pretty new, even in Europe.

Best bet is a dehumidifier blowing into a closet. Cheaper, too.

Instead of blowing into a closet, probably better if it is inside the closet with the door shut. That way it will be drawing in the highest moisture and working off of that for better efficiency and you aren't running the risk of spreading that moisture out somewhere else.

It would probably overheat with the door completely closed. Might work out quite well if you open the door a little.
