I can't tell you the model of the camera. It is usually locked up at work. Some of the things I found were just little problems and would have most likely been fixed when I put on the exterior foam. One of two of the problems I found was the equivalent to having a window cracked or a really leaky door. The worst one, I could feel HOT AIR blowing into the house! It was crazy. I was shocked at what I found. Never would have found those trouble spots without the camera.
One of my doors was leaking under the sill! A little spray foam made a huge difference. Almost every problem was due to lumber on lumber air leaks. I know a sill seal would have helped on the first floor but I thought of it too late. I had plenty of time on the 2nd floor but didn't even think of a sill seal up there! I wish I would have used it between the floor trusses and top of the walls too. Oh well. I'm finding everything bit by bit. It WILL BE a tight house! Maybe someone can use my pictures to help them when they build. Austin |
