When it gets warmer & will either have to replace the V-5 on a 1996 Chevy Lumina 4 door sedan , or replace the O-rings and seals on it . Will have to look it up , but I suspect it came from GM with PAG oil ? God bless Wyr |

![]() That's an old design. Nowadays, a lot of automotive HVAC compressors are using POE, except Hyundai/Kia that use PVE.

![]() GM switched to PAG 150 oil and R134a in like 93 or 94. Later (this century), they switched to thin PAG oil, like 40 wt or so.
