Ryland has chosen the Bits Limited mini power minder.

So, that wraps up this year's giveaway. Congrats to all the winners.

We're open to suggestions on prizes for next year. What would you guys like to see? What would be useful to you?

I already have one but I regularly use my IR thermometer and think it would be a useful give away.

I'd love the chance to win one of the nest thermostats. Nest | The Learning Thermostat | Home Hell I'd love someone with multiple years of data collection of energy usage to do a good review of the device including numbers as to and savings in power vs a standard 7 day programmable.

Sure, I'll give it a try for those. The worst that can happen is they say no.

Still looking for more ideas.

My suggestions are

A pack or 2 of LED light bulbs

A watt meter

A Solar power design book, for DIY

A Geothermal book for homeowners

Grundfos and others make a neat little magnetic do-hingy that you put on the end of your pump motor and it shows how fast it is spinning. Kinda specific but neat, none-the less. Beer is the only other thing that comes easily to mind

How about 12V stuff like a timer, or pump, or thermostat? Very handy things in 12V systems
