That stock routing job actually went pretty well.. Considering how it looked..
So, Lead Acid (LA) car battery posts are tapered! Not a concern for me now, since I picked up eight ready-made units at Autozone, when I was picking up 216 pounds of Marine/RV batteries for my 48v solar back-up rig.. But, after seeing the cost of copper terminals, (for the wing-nutted terminals), I decided to roll my on. Found 5' of 1/4"ID copper tube for $4 and used my Chinese vice, drill-mill & 4x6 saw to make ten terminals that would have cost me about $1.50 each.. And I still have over 3 feet of copper to make more when needed. Good nite, im crashin again... R Here's some installed.. Last edited by Xringer; 12-09-10 at 05:41 PM..
