![]() If you've not done it. Type " solar can furnace " into google videos and watch a few videos. I'm getting ready to build some, I'll post some pix.

![]() I've been wanting to use something similar (or the same) to heat my garage ever since I saw those. Very neat, cheap, and produce free heat!

![]() So far I drilled 89 cans.
What I would like to do is build a combo air and water heater. Cans in back and coil copper on top. |

![]() 9 x 12, 108 cans total. 23 1/2" x 57"..........59.7CM x 144.8 CM
Nothing fancy. Just caulk and stack with DAP high heat mortar caulking. Thinking about keeping the cans tight together and caulk copper pipe in the groves for solar water. I have limited space. ![]() Kind of excited about this project. On the other hand, we've had 5 days of sunlight in the last 3 weeks. |

![]() I have been playing around with a can panel to heat my shop for a little while and I was thinking of inserting a cut can in a X shape inside every other can for more heat transfer. Has any one played around with that?

I'm not sure what you mean. Could you draw/get a picture?
