Default Harbor Freight Infrared Thermometer (improved)

I already own a couple HF IR thermometers, and they have been very useful, far beyond their low price.

I just picked up another one, a newer model (item 60725).

I find it to be a much improved tool, at the same price.

Better interface, easier to use, more stable readings, better repeatability.

As with any IR device that has a laser pointer incorporated, the device does not measure the temp of the dot-area, rather it measures the average temp of the area of a circle of a cone with the dot approx in the center.

All in all, I find this device to be an improvement over previous HF IR measurement tools I have owned.

Best,

I have the previous version and it seems to get very erratic readings when the battery starts to get low. Other than that it seems to work okay. I'd be interested in the new version. Thanks for the two cents guys.
