Snowing and miserable again today. Tonight might be so cold that back-up will be needed again..

But, one more week and we will see the flowers blooming and the snow will be melting away, for the summer!

I can hang out the Owls, to keep the birds off the deck rails..

My spring has sprung weeks ago, Yesterday I applied weed killer to the weeds that have popped up.
I have been walking the dog day & night walks with a long sleeve shirt on and am still getting too warm, even on the night walks.
Summer is just round the corner now.. as Spring has sprung despite the Calender's Date.

The days here have been in the mid 50's F the nights low from 31F to the mid 40's

We don't all live in igloos up here in Canada , its subjective just like the u.s , more so our coastal areas East and West Coast (more West) of Canada have mild winters and have been having these mild winters for centuries. when Global Warming does arrive Canada will be the New Florida ! not sure what Florida will be like.. probably a full time TYPHOON !

In Canada global warming is laughed at by our Prime minster ( which is the same as your president's position only our prime minister has more control ) We make our money selling product not inventing fees.

I was just out moving some snow off the deck. I want a fast melt when the sun hits it tomorrow.
(BBQ this weekend)!

No change in the forecast so far. Looks like we'll need back-up heat tonight.
Around 6 to 8 hours I think. I've got the CAI alarm set for 11deg F.
When it wakes me up, I'll go turn off the Sanyos and crank up the back-up.
Unless the Polar Vortex gets here before midnight.

Tonight - Partly cloudy skies. Cold. Low 8 °F (-13.3 °C). Winds WNW at 15 to 25 mph (24.1 to 40.2 kph).

Tomorrow - Partly cloudy. High 41 °F (5.0 °C). Winds SW at 10 to 20 mph (16.1 to 32.2 kph).

Geez guys, at least use the right terminology. Global warming was replaced years ago with Climate Change. Get with the times. And it has more to do with the climates being more extreme then warming up the planet.

Anyway, that is all. Continue ranting.

Yeah, the "United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change" was signed in May of 1992..

Why haven't we been calling the weather "Climate Change" for the last 22 years?

In my case, I must have learned to call it global warming after being propagandized with the term 'global warming' for two decades.

I guess the brainwashing worked on me..

I have a Prius, almost all my lighting is by LED blubs.. Yeah it worked!

I left the Sanyos on all night. (Based on a guess).

I checked 4 different sources and they were all showing a minimum of 8 to zero F.

But, it turned out they blew it! It stayed above 10F! Did not need any back-up heat!

Well even if it's not real, it does help the environment like I said before. Less smog, your lights don't burn out every few months, you can go off the grid (of course that will cost you), etc...

Some good did come out of it. I think the biggest issues were when we used all those CFC's (is that right?) in canned hairspray and all that crap.

Sure wish they would start a Campaign to stop dumping waste chemicals and toxic waste into our Oceans , $$$$$wonder why they don't $$$$$$$$
Im at a loss for words over that Fact that they pollute with glee with a doctrine that Man is put on earth to DO as he pleases !
