Battery operated motion detector
I am making something that will incorporate a battery operated motion sensor.
When it detects motion it will then need to send a signal to turn on power to lamp or other electric device. I'm having trouble finding one. Perhaps I have missed it somewhere. |

I want to have a motion sensor near my shed and have it signal me when there is movement in the area.
Perhaps I need to look at alarm systems. Although do not need it sound an alarm just turn on a light. |

An audio alarm would be more noticeable at night, IMO. How about a combo unit..

The wireless driveway alert is what I need, but the receiver needs to be able to turn on a light wired to 120v ac.

I'd imagine if yer crafty, a VOX circuit could replace the speaker/transducer in the rcvr. connected to a timed relay to give ya what ya need. Do ya need it to work during the day too?

No just at night.
I'm not too good with electrical stuff. For instance, just a few minutes ago I was taking out the remote control receiver from one of my ceiling fans to put into another ceiling fan. I failed to turn of the breaker. Those sparks are bright and I could not see for a moment. |
