Default Live in MA, and on a fixed income? Need some free heat?

Here in MA, if you are retired or out-of-work etc and don't have a lot of income,
you might qualify for some free money to heat your home during the winter..

Benefits.gov - Massachusetts Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

Two people with income under $40,824 before taxes, can qualify.

"Earlier this year, Markey and other members of the Massachusetts delegation joined in urging the White House to provide $4.7 billion in LIHEAP funding, the same amount allocated to the program in 2011."

From the Boston Globe.
