LifeStraw Portable Water Filter
LifeStraw Review | Portable Water Filters
I saw these a while back and was thinking that one of these might be nice for those folks who live in areas where they might be hit by hurricanes etc, and not have access to clean drinking water for a few days (or weeks).. Any of you guys had any experience with this filter?

As in microfiltration in RO systems this portable filter contain a cartrige with 2-3-4 filter stages. Nothing fancy or rocket science, just minimal to cope with intended purpose, having a clean sip from open water.
Some devices says could work with salted water only that the system have a manual pump and a small osmose membrane. |
