I guess I m just being romantic but goat and pinto beans(perhaps also tortillas too?) strikes me as a nice traditional type meal.
I did have cabrito(kid) in Mexico and it was fine but I realize thats kind of a fancy upscale type dish. |

After living up north for a few years, I kinda lost my resistance to the local tourista bugs
and when I was about 22 years old, I ate my final meal in Ciudad Acuna Coahuila. I was so sick, we almost missed our flight back to Beantown. I think it may have been the water.. But, being a lucky old dude, we've got great Mexican food just down the road.. Last Minute -Thursday Night Ixtapa Mexican Dinner -6:30PM in Woburn Center - Social Fun (Boston, MA) - Meetup
