Garage Door Opener Won't Open or Close
My garage door quit working correctly. I could hear the motor running but it does not move the door anymore. It is 16 years old.
I released the door from the opener it works fine manually. I opened it up and it is not hard to see why it is not working any more. It is made by Chamberlain the same as many craftsman and others. Amazon has a rebuild kit prime shipping should be here Friday. $8.29 Liftmaster Gear Kit 41A2817 Direct Replacement Drive Gear & Worm Set Maybe this will help others if they have the same issue.
