Talking Clothes Dryer Heat Exchanger

Clothes Dryer Heat Exchanger

Briefly: This system is an air to air closed system consisting of a repurposed oil drum, mainframe fan, ductwork, 96 kroger 12-ounce tea, and some coffee cans.

What it does: It take the exhausted dryer heat a basement area by heating a drum filled with can and coils (through which room air is blown from a thermostat controlled mainfraine fan) without adding moisture or dust/lint to the living space. Cost $75. Air temperature from dryer maxes out at around 140 F. Air temperature leaving the drum is around 88 F. 800 square ft. room temperature rises by 3-4 degrees in an hour. Here are four videos which I put up. I would welcome any suggested improvements or questions.
