Dollar Tree $1 LED Bulbs
Here's some good reviews. He takes them apart!!
https://youtu.be/ESZ154gIpSM "Dollar Tree $1 Sunbeam LED Bulb: 800 lumen (9w) Teardown and Review" https://youtu.be/zJWssuCGkC8 "Dollar Tree $1 Greenlite LED Bulb 9w (60w) Review and teardown" Today, my wife picked up five Greenlite 75w bulbs, five Sunbeam 60w bulbs and two Sunbeam 90w flood lights (large).. (She loves a bargain)! I've installed (2) 90w floods, (4) 75w and none of the 60w. All 12 bulbs were pre-tested for a few seconds and they work.. I'm running one of the 90w floods outdoors (motion sensor light) and it seems to be as bright as the incandesent was! I have the other 90w lighting up my office (temporarily as a test). It's a tad too bight in here.. These bulbs appear to be good quality. If any fail, I'll post an update..

I bought a flat of these (4x4) for $16, about a year ago.
They work OK, but the mortality rate has not been the greatest. After some months, some have gone intermittent, they turn on, work for a half hour or so, go off for a minute and come back on, and repeat this cycle. I can't say what percentage do this exactly... maybe 20%. -AC

I've been using some LED lighting for a few of years now.
And the mortality rate when we started, was not good. Back to Lowes and Home Depot at least a half dozen times.. Lately, we've only had one lamp start to blink a bit. (old globe bulb from HD) I don't think we've had any burn-out failures, since the prices started getting lower.. I expect a couple of failures with this new batch from Dollar Tree, but at $1 each, I can live with it. We get over-voltage from the grid here and sometimes there are spikes. Like the day when my old Sanyo Mini-split got zapped by a little power 'blink'. I've only had one (1) brand/model of LED bulb that hasn't had one failure (yet).. And HD doesn't sell them anymore. And they cost too much elsewhere. Saw these guys 'reviewing' some, when they can find them.. Found: $1 LED light bulbs at Dollar Tree | BudgetLightForum.com Cheers, Rich
