Very cool boss indeed! What made you choose ground mount vs roof?

I have a south facing roof, but my wife isn't willing to put up with an 'eye-sore'..
My stuff (1300w) is out in the backyard. http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f1...solarfarm2.jpg The arrays are in the best location that I have (back there), but they only get about 50% of the sun available on the roof.. My photo edit: http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f1.../Paneldora.jpg Maybe someday when energy is costing us more than food & cable, I'll stick some PV on that nice roof..

That's some sweet lookin gear.. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Some people think a neat ground mounted solar array is beautiful. And I'm one of those guys.. I just like looking at them.. Like eye candy... http://www.arkansaswindandsolar.com/...roundsmall.jpg
