Gutter Apron vs Drip Edge
I'm trying to waterproof my metal shed, and I'm having trouble understanding the difference between a drip edge and a gutter apron. I can see the physical difference in how they're shaped, but every single article I can find online only covers that. What I'm trying to figure out is the difference in how/why they're used, what the benefit is of one versus the other, etc.
Could someone please explain the difference to me? If needed, I can post pictures of my shed later. Thanks! |

I've never the term gutter apron. Interested in hearing more as well!
Looks like an extended drip edge, so it fits down into the gutter. https://www.qeiroof.com/drip-edge-vs...he-difference/ |
