Duramax generator to big propane tank
I have the duramax 5500 generator dual fuel and only have ran it on propane small bottles . I use it when grid goes down and there is no sun for the solar panels to be on.
I have a big 150 gallon or so propane tank i want to use instead of the small gas grill tanks. Question is has any one done that before on here that can shoot pointers to me. |

It sounds like you'll just need to convert from whatever valve fitting the 150 gallon tank has to whatever the 20lb tanks have to get to the inlet on the generator. Gas is gas. The supply doesn't matter too much as long as its regulated the same.
