Looking for a 12/24v 30a charge controller?
This is a clone of a real nice charger.. Built in 30A load controller too! I could use that!
Open circuit voltage solar module < 47 V isn't a bad rating. Should work with a lot of panel configs. 30A LCD Solar Charge Controller 12V 24V PR3030 = Steca - eBay (item 120716412888 end time May-25-11 12:11:58 PDT) Who knows if it's going to be as good.?. But it looks nice at first blush.. I'm thinking of ordering one to use as a backup.. Just in case of lightning this summer! |

I just got an email from the dealer..
"I just checked the owners manual and it is indeed 47V.".. He has some text on the sale-page saying it's 38v max for Open PV voltage.. I've looked over the manual of the original Steca charger, and it looks like a very good 12 or 24 v charge controller. If this one has the same controller and firmware, this might be a pretty good buy.. Found one on youtube! Last edited by Xringer; 05-18-11 at 03:32 PM.. Reason: You tubing |
