Daikin hack
Maybe someone already done this for a wine cooler
Want to use Daikin FTX/K minisplit unit for wine cooler room, temp < the 60F minimum on control. Can I simply add a resistor across the thermistor to make the unit think 40F is really 60F? |

I have did the to my friends keg cooler. I would not go as cold as he wanted so I added a resistor to allow it to go colder. That was years ago and it is still working fine today.
