Value of Batteries
I found someone selling some batteries and was looking to set up an off-grid solution. How much are the batteries worth? I don't know if these batteries would work but I was told they used to be a battery backup for a crane system

Wow thats a lot of big batteries.
Their scrap value is quite a lot, If they are in good condition and have not been allowed to sit around uncharged they would make fine off grid storage banks. Problem is knowing how they have been maintained and used and for how long. I would love to have some, but budget and freight probably rules them out. |

Be worth buying a few to bring home and test
Put them up to full charge and measure the values and see how long it holds Voltage. Maybe have shop test a few Not sure if a true RMS multi-meter will work for testing due to the high amps , testing the cold cranking amps would show a fault fast

Is it possible to sell batteries here? I have two batteries used just for 3 months. Well maintained and are in good condition.
