Hello from Wellington, New Zealand
Hi Everyone
I have some pictures of my DIY solar hot water panels so will make a couple of posts here in order to do this. Interests anything solar, electronics, computer software. 26 years as professional electronics technician working on high powered TV, radio tranmission systems, 10 years working as software applications developer, mainly dot.net, dabble in micro-controller design for small projects like solar controllers. Current projects: building heat pipes to extract heat from waste water and to extract waste heat from a wood pellet fire to heat water in the winter. Any questions, fire away, I need to create 5 posts to post my pics. Cheers Mike |

Welcome to EcoRenovator, Mike!
BTW, I was in Wellington (briefly) a couple of times back in 1982 -- I just finished scanning the slides I had taken on that trip. |

Wellingtons changed a bit since then, still just as windy as ever. Blowing a gale at the moment, wouldnt mind putting up a small wind turbine, the amount of hoops to jump through getting planning permission makes it not worth the effort. Cheers Mike |
