So then I got the electric kettle out.
1.416kwh so measure for 3:56
1 liter
17.2°C
t=1 - 39°
t=2 - 55°
t=3 - 82° - eff from here
t=3:56 - 89°
Rise = 64.8°, 4.175 x 64.8 x 1000 = 270734j
5097600j/h -> 254880j

And I did it all because I intended to argue that electric heat, being the inverse of efficiency, could not achieve 100%.
