Forgive me for loosing track .

What brand did you buy ? What btu ? What SEER ?

Mine is running on A/C , right now , in the living room / dining room .

When it is running on A/C , it pulls 10 amps of 120 VAC . That would be 1200 VA .

Watts probably slightly less , depending on power factor . But mine is old technology , 13 SEER . The compressor cycles off and on .

The newer technology / high SEER units use a variable speed compressors . The compressor speed is ramped up or down depending on load . I also think the higher SEER units perform better in Heat Pump mode , down to colder out door temperatures ?
