Ouch, that was a crazy electric bill. The power company was estimating my power the last few months & this was an actual reading this time (we currently use about 24 kWh/day with 5 adults living here). Probably extra power from air conditioning use over the summer, the housemate's servers, & more people using the clothes dryer. We also recently got a 2nd fridge (energy star) in the basement along with a small deep freeze. Exterior lights are LED & on a timer; they used to turn off at 1:30am but I extended them to 4:00am after encountering thefts in vehicles on the driveway.
