The other burner that requires a compressed air supply of 5-12psi, to run a syphon based air atomizer nozzle. They are more forgiving on thicker fuels. My pressurized burner is cheap, but if the fuel isn't filtered to 10 micron, then it clogs up easily. Heat to reduce viscosity is essential, especially below 60f on WVO, as it waxes up in the cold filter below this point. So far my burner has run for the last month, with only a wipe over to clear any carbon on the nozzle. It splutters on startup, and I tend to cheat by chucking some wood in the firebox and heating the nozzle first. Once it is up to temperature, it runs very well, and automatically restarts with no problems.
