We have 2 dryers and both are condensing.
However, the COP is only about 1.3
Scenario:
Regular electric dryers, vented inside thru furnace filters, only used in winter.
In the summer, we use about 100 feet of 5 parallel solar evaporative hangers, oriented to magnetic north.
The winter dryer output is into the basement which has a heat pump water heater (free from poco!). Thus, taking the warmer input air to the HP WH, the calculations show only about a 1.3 COP for the clothes dryers when HW usage is at a minimum <G>
No hot air blown outside, no vents to foul, etc.
