I think the timing of the packets, might be a problem.
But, since this older model may not have USB routines active,
the start time of the 11-word data packets may not be in sync.
If they are in *sync and the collision rate is high, work-arounds can be tried.
(*start transmit might be triggered by a 120vac 60hz zero-crossing detector).
