When I get access to a table saw to cut the wood for a collector, I'm going to use 6" R8 flex but I am thinking about adding additional insulation to the duct run, probably an XPS box waterproofed the best I can.
I just used a jigsaw and a drill. I did make a 8x8 panel though because of that though.
My fan i bought was a dc powered 200cfm fan . Right now i have a craftsman blower blowin through it. Would have it suckin through but kinda hard to do and to much racket. Th duct is 2 25 ft 4 inch puttin out about 70 at the duct. degrees right now at 10a clock. 48 comin in 102 comin out the top. Hopein after i put insulation it will hold in more heat to. Debatein on weather to put it on top of my pump shed.
