EcoRenovator - View Single Post - getting a new carpet. should i get new underlay for added insulation?

Hi

ive just shelled out for a new carpet. should i get new underlay as well? the old bumpy green stuff seems ok. the underlay in the carpet shop was a different material it was like recycled matt. maybe i could put new underlay on top of the old stuff and get double the insulation?
