Just because the GT heat pump is old does NOT mean it may perform poorly. I have a WaterFurnace ATV-046 (COP 4, EER 30) that is now over 20 years old that still works like new. Have had to replace a couple relays over the years, but these things just do not die.

In fact, I picked up a few "trade ins" from my local HVAC guy as WaterFurnace had a "trade in your old heat pump program" for a hefty discount on a new one.
