What an absurd expense! A simple clothesline is much more effective alternative. I hang my clothes to dry outside in the summer. In the winter, they hang in front of my boiler. Of course there are exceptions. Sometimes the dryer is necessary (kids :-). I live in a dry climate so this works quite well for me.
