I was thinking that a DIY waste oil burner could be the heat source .. if you can find a supply of free oil.

You could use a coil of copper to act as a heat exchanger , that way you could have heat all winter.

Maybe even as a winter only heat exchanger then in the spring summer you can use the Sun.

A roll of copper painted black would be a effective and easy way to make a panel.


You could also make the panels round so the coil functions properly.

I really like the idea of coiled copper panels , easy and effective and somewhat affordable , compared to buying them from a company.
