Online, these are $19.98. So when I walked into the local Lowes and saw stacks of them marked down to $7.98,
I just had to grab a couple of them..

They are not made for outdoor use, unless in a sealed fixture..
But are 'suitable for damp locations'...

So, I assume they are somewhat water resistant..
We decided to spray them with clear Krylon paint around
all the seams we could find, and install them outdoors..

Hopefully, they will last a few years..

Anywho, if you have a Lowes around, you might want to check these out.
There's a lot of good reviews on them.. You might see that $8 price too!

These prices are about the same as a 75w halogen flood.. (made for outdoors).
