LOL! I felt like I had lost a few bucks too. I found out from a friend and didn't
believe him at first.. It's like saving almost double the sales tax!

Yeah, I said "DIYer US military veteran (or on active duty)", but forgot about
those old retired GI vets. Maybe I was thinking they get so much money
in their retirement checks, they don't need no stinkin discount..

I have saved a small bundle on stuff at Lowes and HD this summer.
If the purchase is over $10, I produce my discharge copy,
and normally by the time I get half unfolded, the clerk says thank you..

I think Ace Hardware & Sears should start doing the same thing!!
