I didn't know what section of the forum to put this in.
I recently filmed a friend giving a presentation on all the permaculture work he has been doing for the past two decades.
His presentation covers strawbale construction, a methane digester, wood gasification, permaculture farming, geothermal home preheating, earthbermed home, etc.
LOTs of great ideas in there for anyone trying to figure out how to improve their house, or build one better in the first place.
This is the entire presentation - 38 minutes, but it's very interesting stuff. It's well worth taking the time, sitting down and watching the whole thing.
Please forward this video to anyone else you think might be interested, including blogging about it, sending it to your local ecology or peak oil group, etc.
