The digital gauge manifold might be overkill for a couple of installs.

The 5 cfm robinair is also overkill. With the small size of a minisplit you can get away with 3cfm or even automotive sized vacuum pumps. You can also rent these pumps and sometimes gauge manifolds at a equipment rental houses. I did find this cheapie though, http://www.amazon.com/Single-stage-R...5VZPP126J861T7
