I've done some googling and all the old the bias against changing to R410A is still there.
And, if you do find more recent discussions, it seems like many people are still
referencing back to all the old industry & installer resistance to making the change.
Anyways, I've posted questions on a few HVAC (and related) forums and found
that many of the posters are just trolls, and people who will tell you to call your
local "Expert" HVAC guys and get an estimate.
In some places, it's like walking into a union shop and asking for their 'trade secrets'.
They seem to think, if you learn where the hidden reset button is,
that will mean some HVAC guy has to sent his kid to a state college..
