Fact is, things are changing. We are human and don't have all the answers BUT it IS changing way faster than at any time previously and a a higher rate. If this change was over 10,000 years, I wouldn't argue with you but it isn't.
If 97% of the worlds scientists agree, the chances are that they are more right than wrong. There is no government conspiracy, talk to the insurance companies who pay out record amounts of money. They are some of the most conservative actuaries in the world and they acknowledge what is happening.
Those who disagree are most often profiting from not doing anything. Those who agree about GW were not born with a silver spoon in their mouth, they are honest and hard working people, and I know lots of them.
So you can believe what you want but don't argue to strenuously. You may end up scratching your tonsils with your toenails.
