Checked out the LEAF electric car yesterday at a local fair.

I discovered you need a 40 AMP dedicated line for the at-home charging station. The alternate "trickle charge" system of plugging into a standard 15 AMP wall outlet only gives you 5 miles of range per hour of charge.
