that is better then I thought, I save up all my metal cans and wire, all of it and take it to the scrap yard, but prices have gone so far down that I got $60 per ton, compare to a year ago when it was $250 per ton for steel.
not sure how to get money for them,but the plastic that milk jugs (number 2 I think) has been worth more per pound then steel, the revenue goes to pay for the wages of the people who pick up your recycling, I of course don't produce enough to pay for pickup.
