Connect a stereo FM transmitter to an amplified shunt and a voltage divider so it transmits the voltage and currents, then plug a stereo FM receiver into the line in port of your PC. Write a program to do real time DSP on the signals, calibrate it, and use it!

Stereo FM transmitters and receivers cost less than $10. A few dollars for additional parts and there's the hardware. It should be trivial to make it for under $30.
