That TED 5000 is a nice metering system. But not real cheap as you know.
Someday, if I ever start making AC, it won't be a lot, so I can use my Kill-a-watt
meter or maybe take the Efergy sensor off the Sanyo and put it on the inverter.
I can also look at DC into a load using my little panel tester..

I was also thinking about ground mounts. But using PVC pipe..
When I was making a little snow shield for my ASHP, I noticed
the configuration might be a start on a panel carrier design..
Just need to make it articulating, so it can be set for the time of the year..
Something like this would be neat for 2 panels. Portable too.
I could drag it into the garage while away on road trips.
Or truck it out to the woods for more civilized camping trips.?.
