Here's an idea for my low cost Solar recharge of shallow loop field.

I'm trading some longbow building supplies that I no longer need,
for 5x 3' x 8' great condition used solar hot water panels, that he don't need.

Needed: 1,000' of 1" O2 barrier PEX.

I already have: 260W of PV and 5x 24VDC El-Sid 10W pumps.
The PV's are way more power than what's needed for the pumps (15' head)

When Sun is providing enough Amps, the pumps circulate water through the hot water panels -> pex loop, charging the earth around ICF basement. This is a drain back system.

If my DIY heat pump draws down the 1,000 gal. solar storage tank < 35*F
I will have it switch over to drawing from the shallow loop.

I would lay the pex in a slinky loop around the exterior, but 5' away, from the basement ICF walls.
Cover the slinky loop with 12" sand before covering with about 3' of earth.

Then put 4" EPS type2, that I already have, above & outside the slinky loop, then 2' of earth.

Ideas, comments?
