The footing is "on-grade" and because of that I am a little nervous to dig down several feet, and thus the horizontal theme.
The floor is still pallets with OSB screwed on, but the plan is to have in-floor heat sometime down the road. When the concrete is poured, the plan is to insulate the slab, as well. To add to that, I've been thinking of installing metal tubing inside the rocket stove heater to provide the heat on non-sun days.
