I used to fly RC planes nearby, so I'm pretty familiar with the wind at altitude.
Google Maps

I've got a lot of RC glider hours floating above this little field,
and I've seen a lot of very low wind days during the warmer months of the year.

My little DIY test turbine in the backyard was informative. It only turns during
the middle of the winter, but due to all the trees it turns very slowly.. http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f1...egaSpinner.jpg

I might be too close to Hanscom Field to put anything above the tree-line,
even if the state was paying for the turbine.

The "free" solar PV guys were here again this week.
One of my wife's friends took the deal.. The system was installed in the spring,
but could not be turned on, until inspection..
Last week, they finally got inspected. Missed the whole solar summer!!
