My 3D printer is setup in our guest bedroom. I now have my OctoPi running on a raspberry Pi.
I can start my print job from my cell phone, kindle or a computer…
It streams a live video feed so I can check on the print it also makes a time-lapse video of the print.
It emails me when it is done with a jpg of the finished print.
Here is the Timelapse video this is a nice feature. It takes one image on every level change.

This software is great.
I now have my OctoPi installedGuy Sheffer maintains “OctoPi”, an SD card image for the Raspberry Pi that already includes OctoPrint plus everything you need to run it:
