Thee RPM rating is a important factor, the lower the rpm is of the motor the better.

I came across a huge old electric motor, it weighs 150+ lbs is rated at 500v 4000 rpm ,i am unsure of the amperage but am sure of the weight as i knocked it over and had to put it back on a lower shelf.
I am going to make a cash offer for it more so a $50 offer..

Its a high rpm motor but being its so big and high voltage i think it will still work good, even at 20%
