The reviews for the ER102 on Amazon are pretty good..
I'm using a little Sony SRF M37W
It has the VHF weather channels, but I never listen to them much. Only on vaca at the lakes in NH..
The radio has really good AM & FM reception. And the audio is good with the
earphones (included) or some regular ear-buds.
It has a clip on it's back. I hook it to my brake cable while riding my bike
or clip it onto my belt while mowing with the push mower.
It's one of the better radios I've seen lately..
